It was so nice to catch up with Joanna and Matt on Friday, and to meet Lily. Its been a while since I’ve been to Gledswood Homestead and Winery. I use to work there and was there on a weekly basis, mind you this was a few years ago now. The grounds are as beautiful as I remembered, however my favourite tree is now gone. And the house is undergoing major renovations. Having said that it is still open for Weddings and the venue is a beautiful as always. I am actually looking forward to shooting a couple of weddings at Gledswood this year. One in about a week and half. We meet there, had a walk around, checked out the Ceremony location and took some family photos just to get them comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement sessions are all about that, the couple getting comfortable in front of the camera and seeing how I work. So that on the day they can relax and know I will capture what needs to be documented and all they have to worry about is having a great time and enjoying the spotlight on them!
